Elwood High Performance Cables
One of the world’s largest food companies and a valued customer had a problem and turned to Elwood for help. Elwood recently solved a problem and helped to maintain their productivity by providing lifetime support for 1326AS series motors installed worldwide. So when they had difficulty acquiring cables for the same 1326 series motors, they turned to Elwood for a solution.
Elwood again provided a solution to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Building to order at the customer’s requested length, Elwood delivered the exact cables required to keep the customer’s machinery running. When lead times for cables can often exceed a month, Elwood delivers again with typical lead time of one to two weeks.
Elwood’s High Performance Cables for H Series, F Series, S Series, and all 1326 Series motors work regardless of the original manufacturer (Reliance, Electro-Craft, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation, or Elwood High Performance Motors). The cables utilized construction rated for continuous flexing operation. Additionally, the cables feature over-molded connectors at the motor end for an IP67 level of protection against high pressure spray. Elwood’s cables feature overall shielding and feedback cables feature individual twisted pair construction to help reject the electrical noise typically associated with servo motor systems. As with the motor’s in Elwood’s H-Series line, Elwood’s High Performance Cables are designed and manufactured to meet original factory specifications.
Elwood’s High Performance Cables for H, F, and S Series motors come in varieties for Ultra100/200 drives as well as Ultra3000 drives. Cables for 1326 (AB and AS) motors include straight and right-angle (forward exit and rear exit) motor connector options and work with any drives.
