Introduction of Elwood's H-Series as an authorized true drop-in replacement for Rockwell Automation's (Allen-Bradley) H-Series continues the Encompass partnership between Rockwell Automation and Elwood Corporation.
As a true drop-in replacement, Elwood's H-series servo motors feature original equipment rotors, stators, feedback, and connectivity. Adding in identical mounting and dimensions, Elwood H-Series drop-in without changes to motor data files, tuning parameters, cables, or couplers/adaptors. For high torque to inertia ratios, magnetic construction uses rare earth materials, Neodymium Iron Boron. These materials produce excellent continuous and peak torques, low inertia for acceleration rates, and high torque values throughout a wide speed range.
Elwood H-Series servo motors are available in four frame sizes as true drop-in replacements for Rockwell Automation H-2005, H-3007, H-3016, H-4030-P, H-4030-M, H-4050, H-4075, H-6100, H-6200, H-6300, 1326AS, W and S-Series. These models provide a continuous operating torque range from 5 lb-in (0.56 Nm) to 325 lb-in (36.7 Nm) with speeds to 6000 RPM at a 40 C ambient temperature.
As with all Elwood products repairs and replacement parts are available. Elwood has the ability to perform complete repair and rebuild services on Rockwell H-Series servo Motors.
Non-working motors will be rebuilt to original specifications. If your servo motor cannot be repaired, Elwood Gettys can offer a replacement that will provide similar mechanical and electrical characteristics.
