Food Grade Motors

Food Grade motors from Elwood – Gettys are designed to address the unique needs of the food and beverage industries. Food Grade motors conform to IP66 guidelines for complete protection against dust, strong jets of water and the effects of immersion.

SF-Series motors incorporate a smooth, finless housing with an FDA-approved white epoxy coating. Stainless steel hex head fasteners resist corrosion and minimize cracks and crevices that entrap food particles.

SF-Series motors are intended for less stringent food-related applications such as baking and packing.
