Elwood High Performance Motors, H-Series Success Story: 1326AS Series (460V) Servo Motors
Shortly after Elwood's release of H-Series servo motors, the only true drop-in replacement for Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley's H-Series, Elwood received inquiries for support on 1326AS Series Servo motors. The 1326AS Series was a 460V, low inertia, servo motor produced for many years by Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley. After a review of the product line, Elwood began production.
As with all motor's in Elwood's H-Series, 1326AS servo motors are mechanically and electrically identical to the Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley 1326AS servo motors. Built to the original specifications with OEM connectors, brakes, and feedback, Elwood's 1326AS series bolt in place and run without modification to machinery or controls.
Elwood began production based on customer demand starting with 4” frame models 1326AS-B420G-21 and 1326AS-B440G-21. Production soon expanded to include 3” frame models 1326AS-B310H-21 and 1326AS-B330H-21, and then 6” frame models 1326AS-B630F-21, 1326AS-B660E-21, and 1326AS-B690E-21. Elwood also offers original options such as absolute feedback and brakes suited to each frame size.
In addition to building new motors, Elwood rebuilds the 1326AS series regardless of the original manufacturer. Elwood's rebuild program includes a complete tear-down and inspection of each component. At a minimum wearing components (bearings, feedback) are removed and replaced and stators are hi-pot and surge tested to verify insulation strength. Any components that do not meet original factory specifications are replaced. After re-assembly motors must pass the same regiment of tests as new motors before a fresh coat of paint. Rebuilds are shipped with a one-year warranty. The same warranty as new motors.
