SX Series Explosion Proof Motors:  Class II Approval

Elwood High Performance Motors announces UL production approval for hazardous location rated Class II Division 1 (Dust Environment, Explosion Proof) servo motors.  No other servo motors are rated for all the dust environment groups.

            The only specialty motor UL rated for Class II Division 1 and all dust environments.
            - Groups E (Metal Dust), F (Coal Dust), and G (Grain Dust)
            - Only Elwood has Group E rating

            - Class II:  Dust Environment
            - Division 1:  Continuous or Intermittent exposure to the hazard
            - Group E:  Metal dust

            - Temperature Class T3C:  Surface not to exceed 160°C

Functionality and Performance:
