UL/cUL and ATEX Ratings
SX Series servo motors from Elwood High Performance Motors are hazardous location (explosive atmospheres) rated. Ratings include ATEX Zone 1 for gas/vapor environments, UL/cUL Class I Division 1, Groups C & D for gas environments, and UL/cUL Class II Division 1 Groups E, F, and G.
The Only Group E (Metal Dust) Servo
Elwood's SX Series motors are the only servos approved by UL/cUL for all dust groups. No other manufactures maintain the same rating!
Division 1 and Zone 1 Ratings
Elwood's SX Series Motors are rated for Division 1 environments by UL/cUL and ATEX Zone 1 environments. These are the most servere envirnments that allow application of servo motors.
