SS Series motors incorporate a tubular stainless steel motor body and round mounting flange for maximum moisture dispersion and ease of cleaning. A one-piece housing, a radius between all right angle surface transitions and hex head acorn fasteners are utilized to obtain the minimum number of cracks and crevices that entrap food particles. Redundant seals and a non-contact shaft seal provide the ultimate protection against the ingress of moisture.
SS Series motors are intended for use in extremely stringent environments, including the Beef, Poultry, Dairy and Pharmaceutical industries, where cleaning solutions in the pH range of 1 to 12 are the norm.
