All-Stainless motors from Elwood - Gettys are designed for use in the most stringent and/or caustic environments. All Stainless motors conform to IP66 guidelines for complete protection against dust, strong jets of water and the effects of immersion.
W-Series motors incorporate a tubular stainless steel motor body and round mounting flange for maximum moisture dispersion and ease of cleaning. A one-piece housing is utilized to obtain the minimum number of cracks and crevices that entrap food particles. Redundant seals and a shaft seal provide the ultimate protection against the ingress of moisture.
W-Series motors are intended for use in extremely stringent environments, including the Beef, Poultry, Dairy and Pharmaceutical industries, where cleaning solutions in the pH range of 1 to 12 are the norm.
