Elwood's H-Series is a direct drop-in replacement for HSM and SSM servomotors from Giddings and Lewis (G&L) Motion Control. As with replacing Rockwell Automation H, S, W, and 1326AS servomotors, motor data file updates, software changes, or tuning are not required when using an Elwood H-Series servomotor.
How is that possible? Elwood's H-Series is the only replacement for Rockwell Automation H, S, W, and 1326 along with G&L SSM and HSM series servomotors that uses OEM components. Elwood's H-Series uses the same rotors, stators, feedback, and connectors to make the motors the same mechanically and electrically.
